REMARKS :
BALKAN built in 1982, and totally refitted in 2008/09, was bought by the Government of Republic of Bulgaria for the General Secretary of the Bulgarian Communist Party and Chairman of the State Council of Republic of Bulgaria, Todor Zhivkov.
After the political changes in 1989, the yacht was carefully kept in Bulgarian Navy Base in special built building till 2007, when she was sold by the Government to a private company.
